RU Porcelain In Henan. Ru Porcelain produced in Linru County, Henan Province is one of the five famous porcelains in the Song Dynasty (960-1279). but its production ceased at the end of Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). after the founding of new China in 1949, archaeologists were organized to excavate the ancient sites of Ru kilns and collect old china samples. Funds were earmarked to restore its production so that the famous porcelain in north China lost for several hundred years has been resumed. Ceramic artisans have created print celadon by combining the print skill off the Din kiln, Hebei Province, and the glazing skill of the Yue Kiln. Zhejiang Province. The greenish porcelain has lustrous and cream-coloured glaze and resembles flawless jade. Ru porcelain is also coated with yellow, brown and sky blue glaze.
