Bronze helmet. Remains of thongs attached to the helmet indicate that the helmet was fastened with thongs. End of Western Chou or early Spring and Autumn Period (c. 9th - 8th century B.C.). H. 23. 8 cm. Unearthed in 1963 at Ningcheng, Liaoning Province.
