Draped wooden tomb figure (detail). The robes worn by such figures are made of either fancy gauze, embroidered silk or silver-speckled gauze with painted cloud design. Early Western Han (206B.C. - A.D. 24) H. 78 cm. Unearthed in 1972 from the Western Han Tomb No. 1 at Ma-wang-tui, Changsha.
