Hao Jianxiu -- Youngest Woman Minister. Hao Jianxiu was appointed Minister of Textile Industry in March 1981, when she was 45. Since assuming office, Hao (right) has often consulted Qian Zhiguang (left), former minister of textile industry and now advise to the State Council, who had helped her with her work for years.
