Important Relics And Well-Preserved Male Corpse From 2,100-Year-Old Tomb In Central China. Among the unearthed burial objects are 165 pieces of lacquerware. Made by applying coats of red and then black lacquer on the wooden base, these articles carry beautiful design and motifs in bright and attractive colours of red, brown and gold, done in flowing brushstrokes. Photo shows a couple of eared lacquer cups with three painted fish.
