Chine not only fights on with unwavering courage, she also faces up to the tragic social problems of her 6-year 'INCIDENT' with a view to a better future. The many thousands of little war orphans from war ravaged areas and badly bombed towns are growing up to good citizenship in Mee: Chiang Kai Shek's model orphangges. These are self supporting and self-contained. The children are taught a trade or craft by which they will be able to serve China in war or peace. They are known as "Little Citizens of New China".
