A ceremony commemorating the first anniversary of the death of Soong Ching Ling, Honorary President of the People's Republic of China, was held at Soong Ching Ling's former residence on May 29. The ceremony was held by the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee, the National Peoples' Congress Standing Committee and the State Council.
