White pottery kuei-tripod. This type vessel with its hard kaolin paste is very characteristic of the Lunghshan Culture of Shantung. Late Neolithic (c. 2,000 B.C.). H. 29.7 cm. Unearthed in 1960 at Weifang, Shantung Province.
