Tibetan Technicians Awarded Professional Titles. Deqoi, a Tibetan woman geologist, works in the field. Deqoi belongs to the first generation of Tibetan engineers. She embarked on the geologic work 20 years ago and has worked hard ever since for the survey and identification of the mines in Tibet, making marked contributions to the construction cause of the autonomous region.
