Yis' Festival In Yunnan-Guangxi Border Areas. The wooden drum, also unique to local Yis. It is made by hollowing out a log and covering up one end with cattlehide. It is usually played by two people, one beating the hide and the other tapping the log. Photo by He Guozheng.
