Photos On China's Construction. China's biggest melamine-producing workshop was completed in May thin year as an extension to the Sichuan Chemical Works in southwest China. With an annual capacity of 12,000 tons of melamine, the workshop is a joint venture with firms of the Federal Republic of Germany and Belgium. China now has more than 800 joint ventures which draw foreign investments to promote her production of oil, coal, textiles and other light industrial goods as well as her railway and harbor construction.
