Sino-British Tax Agreement Signed In Beijing. A ceremony was held in Beijing on July 26 for the signing of an agreement between China and Britain for the reciprocal avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income and capital gains. Chinese Vice-Minister of Finance Tian Yinong and British Ambassador to China Sir Richard Mark Evans signed the agreement on behalf of their respective governments.
