Chinese Peasants Today. A peasant-turned worker building the cylinderical sieve for an ore dressing machine at a machinery plant in Nanguanling Township near Dalian, Liaoning Province. The peasants in this township have in recent years set up factories for casting, machine processing and plastics producing, thus evolving a new way for agricultural modernization by using local materials.
