Growing Economy In China. The Northeast Light Alloy Processing Factory in Heilongjiang province last year registered a 42 percent increase in production over that of 1976. The success is attributed to its director Wei Jianxing (centre) who, with professional knowledge and managerial proficiency has managed the factory with flying colours since he took up the leading post three years ago. His factory has submitted a profit of over 24 million yuan to the state.
