Agricultural Scientific Activities in China. Zhao Yongan (second from right), staff member of the Medicine Company of Tongjian County in Sichuan province, has achieved fruitful results in sexual breeding of the tuber of elevated gastrodia (gastrodia elata). He has also trained 1,000 technicians to further promote the production of the valuable crude drug.
