Chinese Scientists Carry Out Research On Ancient Bronze Chime Bells. Hua Jueming (left), a noted Chinese scholar in the history of metallurgy, and Wang Yugang (center), an archaeologist of the Henan Provincial Museum, recording the acoustics and arranging the tone orders of a nine-piece set of ''niu'' bells dating back 2500 years. The bells which can render the ancient Chinese song ''Su Wu" Herds Sheep'' and some foreign songs produce melodious tones.
