Bronze sword of Kou Chien King of State of Yueh. The guard of the sword is inlaid with blue glass on one side and turquoise on the other. An inscription inlaid in gold on the sword reads: "Kou Chien, the King of Yueh, made this sword for his own use". Early Warring States Period (475-221 B.C.). L. 55.5 cm. Unearthed in 1965 at Chianling, Hupeh Province.
