Bronze stem bowl inlaid in gold with kuei dragon design. The use of gold and silver inlays in decorating bronzes was an innovation made by the bronzesmiths of the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States periods. Warring States Period (475-221 B.C.). H. 19.2 cm. Unearthed in 1965 at Changchih, Shansi Province.
