Chinese Peasants's Life After Bumper Harvest. China has got a fairly all-round development in its 1979's agriculture with an increase of 10 million tons of grain, and a growth of cash crops to varying extents. China has raised the prices for purchasing agricultural and side-line products last year with the result that the peasants have been benefited 900 million yuan. With the rise of income their living standard has been improved steadily. peasants of Fengyang County, Anbui Province, east China, shopping at a local market.
