NW China -- A Land Of Great University. A view of the Liujiaxia Gorge Hydropower Station on the upper reaches of the Yellow River in Gansu Province. It has a total generating capacity of 1.225 million KW. Fifteen power stations with a combined generating capacity of 50000 million kwh could be built along that section of the Yellow River stretching upstream from the Qingtong Gorge in Ningxia to the Longyang Gorge in Qinghai Province.
