Women's Logging Team On Changpai Mountains. A logging team of 37 women in northeast China's Kirin Province was cited as an advanced unit of the country's forestry departments for completing its 1974 production quota three months ahead of schedule. The all-women team which belongs to the Lushuiho Forestry Bureau at the foothill of the Changpai Mountains was formed in August 1973, Under the concern of the Communist Party organization and with the help of veteran workers, the team members have mastered the skills of felling, skidding and loading after overcoming many difficulties. In the current movement to criticize Lin Piao and Confucius, members of the women's logging team of the Lushuiho Forestry Bureau put up big-character posters to criticize the reactionary Confucian idea of "men were superior to women".
