Major Farming Areas In China Have Good Harvests. A river in Chinchow region in Hupch Province is crammed with boats carrying grain to the state grain purchasing station. A leading producer of market grain and cotton in Hupch, Chinchou region had good harvest in 1973 after overcoming drought and waterlogging. Grain output rose by 10 per cent and cotton 40 per cent compared with 1972.
