Alo Chhonzed, Former Tibetan Official, Returns To China. Alo Chhonzed (right), who was a member of the former Tibetan upper strata, returned from Australia on May 5 with his wife (first, left) and son (center) to live in China. He left China in 1956, and advocated the so-called independence of Tibet. After his return to his motherland, he said at a press conference: "I took the wrong path in the past.
