Breathing Exercises. Body resistance is improved by correct deep breathing. To do this one must adopt a comfortable position and then concentrate on control of the breathing. In some Chinese methods it is also possible to add exercise and massage. The aim of the whole system of exercises is to improve blood circulation, increase metabolism (digestion, absorption and nutrition), improve the posture, strengthen the heart and gain mental and physical relaxation. The overall effect should be an increase in body resistance to disease.
