Provincial Revolution By Committees Set Up In Kansu, Honan And Hopei. The founding of the Revolutionary Committee of Kansu Province, an important region on China's northwest plateau and one of the outposts of anti-revisionist struggle, was declared on January 24 this year. On the day of its formation, Lanchow, capital of Kansu Province, was a scene of great joy. The proletarian revolutionaries from various fronts of the province, revolutionary masses and the commanders and fighters of the Chinese People's Liberation Army units stationed in Lanchow, totaling 250,000, held a grand rally to warmly celebrate the triumphant birth of the committee under the illumination of Mao Tse-tung's thought.
