China's Biggest Iron And Steel Centre In Readjustment Of National Economy. Anshan Iron and Steel Company, the biggest of its kind in China, has completed the 1980 state production quotas of six major products such as pig iron, steel and rolled steel. Its 19 varieties of rolled steel have been cited as quality products by the state, the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry and Liaoning province. Anshan's achievements are due to its efforts to raise quality of products, add varieties, curtail energy and material consumption and increase profits in the course of the readjustment of national economy.
