New Look Of South China County. New houses go up along the banks of the Jiajiang River in Yangshan County, Guangdong Province. In the recent three years, the county built more than 50,000 square meters of dwelling houses. The age-old Yangshan County lies in the north of Guangdong Province and on the middle reaches of the Lianjiang River, a tributary of the Beijiang River. As early as in the Western Han Dynasty (206 B.C - A.D.24), the county was under the jurisdiction of Yangshan County.
