Biggest Stone Meteorite In World. The main body and fragments of the 1770-kilogramme stone meteorite, the biggest in the meteoric shower which foll on March 8 in areas in northeast China's Kirin Province. It is also the largest hitherto collected in the world. On the surface of the meteorite, there are black-brownish fusion crusts and regmaglypts of varying sizes. It has a typical chondritic texture.
