Meteorite Shower, Unusual In Size In World History, Falls In Northeast China. Part of the meteorites collected after the meteorite shower in Kirin area. The meteorites are in a great variety of shapes. On the surface of the meteorites there are black or black-brownish fusion crusts and regmaglypts (thumb prints on the fusion crusts) of varying sizes. Chemical elements in the meteorites identified through analysis include silicon, magnesium, iron, sulphur, calcium, nickel and aluminium.
