China's Mountain Cosmic-Ray Observatory. A staff member changes film at the multi-plate cloud chamber of the cosmic-ray observatory. The multi-plate cloud chamber, an important instrument of the observatory, is used to study how the cosmic-ray particles interact with the plate in the chamber so as to get some information on the quality of cosmic-ray particles.
