China's Mountain Cosmic-Ray Observatory. Photos of the event discovered by the cosmic-ray observatory in summer, 1972. Left photo shows tracks of the three high energy particles. The track on the extreme right (shown in right photo) is hard to be explained as a known particle because of few water drops and high momentum. Measurements and analysis show that it is a possible heavy particle.
