First Children's Psychology Research Center Set Up In Nanging. The Nanjing Research Center of Children's Psychological Health, the first institute of its kind in China, opened on June 1, this year. The center will engage in research, medical treatment and teaching. It will provide consultancy services in genetic diseases, psychological testing and child behavioral guidance and compile teaching materials. The education is aimed at letting the defected children more adaptable to school and social life. The center will promote children's psychological health by organizing forums and discussions and making house calls with the help of teachers, children's health workers and parents. It will further train child psychologists for other organizations throughout China.
