Historic Places Of Chinese Revolution. Site of the Tsunyi Meeting. The Chinese Communist Party held an enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee at Tsunyi, Kweichow Province, in January 1935 when the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red army arrived here on its Long March. The meeting put an end to the rule of the Wang Ming's "Laft" opportunist line in the Party and established Chairman Mao's leadership of the Party.
