Photos Marking 50th Anniversary of "August 1" Nanchang Uprising. The "August 1" Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall. The former general headquarters of the uprising was housed here. The building, which was previously the Hotel of Kiangsi, became the centre for leading the uprising. The Front Committee with Comrade Chou En-lai as secretary, set up by the Communist Party of China for leading the uprising was founded here.
