Port City - Qinhuangdao. Temple of Lady Meng Jiang at Shanhaiguan. The legend said Lady Meng Jiang came here to see her husband who had been drafted to build the Great Wall there and brought winter clothes for him only to find him dead. She kept crying till a part of the wall collapsed. Then she threw herself into the sea and drowned herself. A temple was built there to commemorate her. Photo by Ben Lanwu.
