The An Chi Bridge Of The Sui Dynasty At Chaohsien, Hopei Province. Built by Li Ch'un, a master mason, and his fellow masons in the Sui Dynasty (A.D. 581-618), this is the oldest open spandrel stone bridge still standing in China. It has a total length of 54 metres, a width of 9.6 and a net span of 37.7 metres for the main arch.
