View of the central chamber of the tomb of Liu Sheng, of the Western Han Dynasty. In 1968, the tombs of Liu Sheng, Prince Ching of Chungshan, of the Western Han Dynasty, and his wife were excavated at Mancheng, Hopei Province. Carved out of solid rock on a gigantic scale, they have yielded more than 2,800 pieces of tomb furniture.
