Western Group Of Qing Imperial Tombs. The Chong Tomb of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. Construction of the tomb began in 1909. Two years later the Qing Dynasty was overthrown, leaving the tomb unfinished. It was completed in 1915 by the abdicated Qing imperial family. Photo by Zhao Liansheng
