A Song Of Triumph - Harnessing The Haiho River. A new view of the Heilungkang canal south of the Haiho River which diverte flood waters eastward into the Pohai. Starting October, 1965, the people in the area waged a 120-day battle to dredge the canal and its branches, thus freeing large tracts of low-lying land from water-logging.
