Results Of "Hundred Flowers Awards" For Best Films Announced. The results of China's third film "Hundred Flowers Awards" poll were announced recently. Best feature films are "General Ji Hongchang", about the life of a national resistance hero in the 1930s; "Tear Stain", about a county Party secretary who clears his predecessor of unjust charges; and "Xiao Hua" (Little Flower), about the reunion of a P.L.A. man with his two sisters amidst the Liberation War (1946-1949). Another 12 categories including best actor, actress, scenarist, director and cameraman were also selected. A ceremony to present awards was held on May 23 by the Chinese Film Association. The film poll was organized by "Popular Cinema". 1,500,000 votes were distributed. The first two "Hundred Flowers" polls were held in 1962 and 1963.
