Shakespeare Research Society Of China Set Up. A national Shakespeare research society, the first of its kind in China, has been established in Shanghai recently. The Shakespeare Research Society will hold a Shakespeare festival in China, edit a set of annotated works of Shakespeare and his plays, so as to make more Chinese people' understand the great English poet and dramatist. Shakespeare was one of the world's great dramatists known in China. All of his plays have been translated into Chinese and a number of them have been staged in China.
