Shanghai Teenage Girl Cracks World Archery Record. Wen Wen-chuan, a 17-year-old school girl from Shanghai, has scored 342 points in the women's 30 metres single round archery event to improve on the Polish-held world record of 341 points. She made this record-breaking performance on February 19 at a friendly archery tournament in the south China city of Kwangchow. Here China's famous archer Li Shu-lan (centre) who had improved world records on several occasions, and coach congratulate Wang Wen-chuan on her success.
