Ice Hockey World Championship Pool C Closes. The 1981 Ice Hockey World Championship Pool C ended in Beijing on March 16 after seven days of competition. Austria finished first, followed by China, Hungary, Denmark, France, Bulgaria, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Britain. The British team was awarded for its fine sportsmanship. Austria and China will take part in the 1982 Ice Hockey World Championship Pool B.
