Volleyball Fans Gather In Zhangzhou. A get-together of volleyball fans took place from Feb. 23 to Feb. 27 in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, where the Chinese national women's volleyball team is training for oncoming major international events. This gala activity aimed at giving a boost to the game of volleyball in China and at celebrating the achievement of the Chinese national women's volleyball Team, winner of three world titles in succession. Participating in the get-together were persons working in the volleyball field from all parts of the country, the coaches and members, both retired and new recruits, of the Chinese national women's volleyball team, personages from the art and cultural circles, some members of the Fans' Association of the Chinese National Women's Volleyball Team of Hongkong and other Hongkong volleyball enthusiasts.
