Women's Figure Swimming Team In Shanghai. A number of middle and primary school girls with rudimentary skills in swimming, diving and gymnastics were selected in Shanghai early this year to form the city's first women's amateur figure swimming team. After several months training, these girls of 9 to 15 in age have mastered the gists of figure swimming. Now they are undergoing rigid training in preparation for the figure swimming invitational tournament of some provinces and municipalities to be held in Beijing in August, 1983.
