Educated Youth Stay On Countryside To Make Revolution. Pai Chi-hsien (second from right), middle school teacher of Yentsun Commune in Tsanghsien County of Hopei Province, discusses revolution in education with her colleagues, student and representatives of the poor and lower-middle peasants. Pai came to the commune to receive re-education by the poor and lower-middle peasants after graduation from the Hopei Teachers University in 1968. Daring to break with the old ideas of looking down upon the labouring people, she married an ordinary peasant one year later and stayed on to make revolution in the countryside.
